One of the most captivating, moving and compelling books I’ve ever read!!! Brilliantly written managing to portray every characters hardships and struggles from different aspects. I couldn’t put this book down, once I started reading I was engrossed in the story. This book will break your heart only to heal it again. It shows the devastating effects war can have on people and how hope can be born in the most unlikely circumstances.
This book was recommended to me by my eldest daughter two years ago…..
So yes, I have finally got round to reading it.
My only concern, why is this author not better known? This book is brilliant and I most certainly recommend to all!!
