So I am late to the Brian McGilloway fan club party, but just in case I am not the last to discover him… I’m raising my voice for those at the back… if you love great crime thrillers then you need to be reading this guy! This is the first in the Ben Devlin series and it has set the series up with some brilliant characters! As I’ve come to expect from Brian’s books we have great plot and pace throughout. I really can’t recommend him highly enough. I have also read and loved The Last Crossing by him which is a standalone read and I’ve read the four Lucy Black books to date. All completely recommended, so just go buy them and thank me later.
