Thank you to Chris for hand delivering a signed / dedicated copy to me yesterday, having enjoyed his three previous books this flew straight to the top of my towering to be read piles.
With each of his previous books I felt the latest one was always better than the previous one… which is obviously brilliant as your expectations for each constantly increase.
So I started this with exceedingly high expectations and I was not disappointed.
This is a cleverly plotted local crime thriller (set in Chester le street) which will absolutely keep you turning those pages long after you really should have continued with other tasks.
As always I’m giving no spoilers but while reading we encountered predictions, ghosts, murder, really interesting characters, fabulous plotting and great tension!
I am more than happy to recommend all his books to crime fans!
