This is a heart breaking account of domestic abuse which will really get inside your head.
Just how many families live with domestic abuse will never be known, but each incident is dreadful and really breaks my heart.
It does indeed read like a crime novel but sadly this is a memoir.
A recommended read, but not for the holiday pile.
