I had the pleasure of bumping into Claire in Waterstones Durham at the start of the summer, in fact after she had heard me talking to customers about my top crime reads she approached me… I was embarrassed to say I hadn’t read her book…. but after a quick online search, this situation is now rectified!
So true Victorian crime probably not something I have picked up before… but it was such a fantastic cover design that I couldn’t resist!
My verdict of the book, very well written and researched. A very interesting read that certainly triggers lots of questions that fly around in your brain for days following!
