Having read this little novel I now find it slightly tricky to review.
On the whole I enjoyed the read and would certainly be intrigued to pick another novel by the same author.
However, I am only awarding it three stars as sadly there were some parts I did not enjoy reading, but of course that is my personal opinion. Many would enjoy it all.
I do believe it gives you a good sense of time and place and certainly pulls you into their plight.
