This second read is incredibly tense, and yes I am holding him entirely responsible for the tension headache and stiff neck I got yesterday reading this, as I couldn’t put it down!
You really find yourself deeply involved in the young girls life, Abida, from her rural village to her city experience. I’m not going to spoil the plot for you.
So all I will say is this is an excellent read which will certainly hook you it from the very first pages.
