Well I had just finished this before it was crowned the Waterstones teen / YA read of the year and I happen to agree it’s a great read!

A young girl is gifting favours, but always requests a favour in return. An unlikely friendship develops with an class swot and a rule breaker. This book is heart breaking in so many ways but also rather hilarious in part. Also very current and touches on issues such as food banks which are sadly more essential for so many people each day. I will definitely be recommending this read to all & checking out any previous books by Ciara.
