I fell in love with the hardback cover of this book, but knowing very little about it I strangely managed to resist buying it.
However, that resistance was lost when the equally gorgeous paperback arrived and the excellent reviews were now flooding in, I just had to read a copy.
This is a letter from the son to his mother. The letter describes his growing up in Vietnam, his sexuality, his worries.
It was a strange read in places, whilst in other places it completely drew me in.
I am happy to recommend this read.
