So having read and then raved about book one – Perfect Remains….
I had eagerly awaited book two – Perfect Prey!
So when it arrived I felt a little nervous would it be as good as the first book, would it be a disappointment?
No of course not it was brilliant!! I had to read it in just two nights…..so if someone could let work know to be easy on me today that would be very kind.
This book takes your hand on page one and traps it until you reach the very end!!
So about book three…could someone hand deliver it tomorrow please?
DI’S Callanach and Turner are fast becoming my favourite crime fighting duo.I loved Helen Fielding’s first book Perfect Remains but her second novel Perfect Prey is crammed full of twists and turns, I loved the characters good and bad and had to read at every available opportunity.I always read an authors second book with a little trepidation, will it be as good as the first? I need not have worried as Helen has surpassed herself and I cannot recommended it highly enough.
Cracking read – couldn’t wait to start this much awaited second instalment from Helen Fields and I saved my signed copy as my holiday read.
Couldn’t put it down and it felt a lot more sinister than the first. Growing to love the wider characters and loving the tantalising relationship between Cal and Ava.. bring on book 3 – well done Helen!
