This is the first book in the Shetland series.
I have watched all the Vera series on the TV so decided to treat myself to the Shetland series.
However, I had forgotten that I had also watched Shetland on TV.
So for the first time ever I found myself reading something I had watched.
I frequently watch something I have read with no issue but the other way round was bizarre.
Even given the fact that I had already seen it I really enjoyed the book and was hooked straight in!
I would certainly recommend this book.
