Well might as well be honest I’m not much of a football fan & the shame of it I didn’t know about the previous Roy of the Rovers books back in the 1970’s…
But what I do know is that Tom Palmer’s books are all loved by boys and girls and this new series will be no exception, this is the graphic version so Rob & Ben are responsible for this version.
Great first book in the series, plenty of tension to keep those pages turning long after you should have turned out the lights!
I can certainly think of many young boys & girls who will love it!
The graphics! The Lay out! All work brilliantly well and even a non football fan such as myself couldn’t help but get dragged into this book!
I can see this making it on to many Christmas lists!
Suitable for age 8+
