So thank you very much to the publisher for this early copy…when it arrived at work a colleague was hoping I would cast it aside as she was eager to get her hands on this book. (Seems she has read them all)
I however, love my crime reads and had never heard of Lin Anderson so I wasn’t letting go of the opportunity of discovering a good new crime writer for my collection.
This I think is Lin’s 13th novel, I confess to thinking I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I hadn’t jumped in at book 13 – I’ve heard it said before the beginning is an excellent place to start. I will now obviously be back tracking to the beginning of the series when I get the opportunity.
However, this was a good solid crime novel with enough tensions to keep the pages turning and for me to now NEED to discover more about this Scottish Crime Writer.
