I had the great pleasure of meeting Abir in Waterstones Durham last Saturday. He was both lovely and very interesting to listen to, so I proudly have the full set signed!
So Smoke and Ashes, Book 3, possibly the best so far, but it is very hard to pick your favourite when you love them ALL!
Without a doubt you get a true sense of time and place as you read each and everyone of his books. The tension picks up with each one, the complexity of the plot is wonderful and his characters are divine with a lovely touch of humour!
If you have not yet read these then you are seriously missing out! I urge you to rectify this over the summer!!
All three books are highly recommended!
