Thank you to the publishers for this review copy.
This was an excellent thought provoking read with an ending that I absolutely did not see coming!
Is this novel so far fetched? Could this happen? Would you eat the meat?
Very much look forward to seeing what they write next.

I appreciate it’s only February, but this book could be a contender for my top 5 of 2020. I found it to be a great, thought provoking read.
Would i eat the meat? I’m not sure, though i could envisage the world that the author writes about becoming a reality,
I’m intrigued where this author goes next.

Thanks to the Pushkin for sending me a review copy of this one. The striking cover suggests a great deal of horror within and that’s certainly the case. The book follows the life of Marcos who lives in Argentina where humans are now bred for meat after a virus has rendered all animal inedible. The author describes the ordeal of those who are bread for consumption in shocking detail, but the plot is pacey and leads up to a mind-blowing conclusion. Recommended for fans of thrillers or dystopias.
