Having read The Enchanted in 2015 and found it to be like nothing else I have ever read I was worried that this couldn’t possibly match up…
I would instead now say that this is even better! I usually find myself racing through a great book continuing to turn the pages long after I should be sleeping…
However, with this book I enjoyed the writing so much I found myself only sipping a few pages at a time!
(Ben, when do we get the third book please?)
I really enjoyed this book and I hope that Rene Denfeld is planning to write another book about the main protagonist, Naomi Cottle. I want to know about Naomi. Denfeld’s books are always fascinating, describing humanity from a perspective I’d never imagined. I eagerly await her next book.
