This was a birthday gift from 2019, but the reading pile is large… so I am just clearing the tip of it in lockdown.
My verdict – an excellent read, yes, I appreciate it is fiction – but irrespective of how accurate it is in this novel it is nevertheless a reminder of the situation many find themselves in. This gives you an insight into the situation people may find themselves in, I’m quite sure the reality is far worse.
We should all take the opportunity to do what we can for others in need.
