We all know I am a big fan of the series – so guys this did go straight to the top of the immediate pile to read!
I flew through it, very good plot.
It is a prequel to Holy Island, so my only comment maybe I would have liked to read this as bk 1 or even as bk 2?
But I did enjoy it & would very happily recommend it… I would just probably place it in the series as bk 2 – as I love holy island so much. My opinion – you will all have your own opinions so read them ALL and decide.

Very interested to see what L J Ross writes next and I am sure many other people are!!
