I knew I would be able to settle down for a relaxing afternoon with this book, I have previously loved The Lido and The 24-hour cafe both by Libby.
This is a tale of family, with it’s problems, with it’s love but it is also a tale of island life.
It’s gentle and gorgeous and absolutely recommended as are her previous two books.
I would like to think I could happily go and live on an island – so long as I knew deliveries from the main land would arrive. (Yes, I am mostly thinking books)
