Well this is a book that had gone on and off my wish list since it won the Costa book of the year in 2020. I just couldn’t decide if it was something for me or not… but then I was gifted a copy so of course I read it.
This was a much lighter read than I had anticipated and I very much enjoyed it. I can totally see why people love it, a gorgeous little love story between two very different characters. It will melt your heart.
Very happy to recommend this to anyone else who hasn’t yet picked up a copy.
