Longlisted for Booker 2020, so well I thought let’s give it a try.
My verdict I absolutely loved it!
Loved how it played out, great concept, you felt each stage of this.
I was happy to sip at it for the first few pages but once I had reached the half way point I needed to devour it (the family & work however did prevent this constantly)!
I’ve only read 2 of the longlist so far but this has absolutely got to make it to the short list!
(The next decision is which one to read next from the longlist?)
