Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy, I worried that before starting this it should have come with tissues…
I survived fine without tissues, but there were certainly a couple of moments where I could see tissues being required for many – so please be advised.
This is a gentle, heart warming story with a touch of humour, it is about a young girl and an older lady, it is a series of moments in their lives.
My stand out character was the priest – Father Arthur! I would happily have had a touch more of him in the book.
Look forward to seeing what Marianne writes next.
