Well ok I confess I wasn’t tempted to buy this book ever… until the new pretty hardback 10 year anniversary edition was published… and then I was straight in!
So yes, I had heard years of praise about it, I knew it was a previous Women’s Prize for fiction winner – but still no one was tempting me…
I finally picked up my purchased pretty hardback to read this weekend and LOVED IT! So to anyone who thinks it’s not for them, or who is maybe sitting on the fence… Buy it, Read it, you will not be disappointed – such a beautifully told story that will stay with you for so very long.
Absolutely recommended!
