Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy. I previously loved Clare’s debut ‘The Unexpected Tale of Bastien Bonlivre’ so I was delighted to receive this second one in the series. The second book is every bit as brilliant, we remain in Paris. The tension is high. The danger is real, who can we trust? Can the children save the day? Or is everyone doomed?
You’ll have to read it to find out. But I would definitely recommend that you read them in order! Very happy to recommend both of Clare’s books to all!
