Thank you to the publishers for this review copy, I have admittedly had my eye on this hardback since publication date but had never actually bought it!
However, as soon as it was longlisted for the 2019 booker I just had to read it.
Very pleased to report that I absolutely loved it and would certainly like to see this shortlisted.
I’ve only read 3 of the 13 so far so perhaps a little early to start predicting any winners.. but this is definitely a contender….
