Firstly, thank you to the publishers for a review copy.
It is fair to say that I have never read any nature / countryside books before so I really did not know what to expect from it.
However, I really enjoyed this diary style book describing the wood and its inhabitants each day.
You enjoy the beauty of it and to an extent understand the hard work involved too.
Loved the poetry and the recipes included amongst the entries.
My only request – I was craving a sketch or two – perhaps this is just me?
Oh and the last entry, sniff.
