This book sat on my pile for far too long before I decided to read it.
I had only heard excellent things about it from so many people.
They were all correct, a brilliant read, a real eye opener and please reflect on your life and views as you read it!

This was a great account of David’s experiences over the last couple of decades. He really manages to convey some of the horrors of war in his writing and I was quite shocked at some of the things he has seen and had to deal with. Very interesting and a must read for all!
I probably wouldn’t have picked up this book if it wasn’t for it being a selection for my book club, however, i have to say it was a thoroughly eye opening read, and one that i would definitely recommend.
I’m so pleased people like David exist in this world, and the amount of good that has come from his work is amazing.
Great read, and this is what a true hero looks like!
