Firstly, thank you to a local café owner who decided I might like to read this book & passed me a copy from the author.
I was not sure what to expect from this book, would the emphasis be on the ladies memoir or on the cold case of her mother’s death.
The emphasis really is her memoir, however her life is partially shaped by the history of her parents & her carers going forward.
This is very well written and certainly you want to continue turning those pages as you learn about her childhood & she begins to learn about her parents.
Given the ladies current position she is clearly very strong as it is fair to say she did not have the best start in life.
I do urge others to read this!
