Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy!
Having really enjoyed Mason’s previous books I was more than keen to see what this new crime thriller had to offer!
I maybe even like this one more than the others – but perhaps we shouldn’t tell them in case they get a little upset?
Great tension, plenty of twists and turns! Loved the characters!
Is it standalone? Could there be a follow up? Either way whatever you are writing next it is a big YES PLEASE from me.
Totally loved it! Let’s get this recommending to all.
See you in Waterstones Durham next month for a signing & crime book group!

I decided to read this one in advance of the crime book group in a few weeks time. This book is very difficult to put down and sucks you in from the off. I felt like I was really behind main character, Jenny, and there is a part in this book that really made me gasp out loud as I just hadn’t seen it coming.
A thoroughly enjoyable tale full of high pace drama that left me wanting more.
Looking forward to seeing Mason talk about this one!

This was a very atmospheric thriller and I loved the unusual setting of the Caledonian sleeper in various parts of tbe book. The north of Scotland and Fort William was also a great choice of setting and contrasted well with London. Thoroughly enjoyed this one and would recommend it to any fan of crime!
