I loved Emma’s previous book, Secrets of a Sun King, so I had very high expectations for this one too!
Set in World War Two, it explores the resourcefulness and inventiveness of children when their lives are in turmoil.
This is a great book to begin with if you haven’t read Emma’s books before but also a one that existing readers will simply fall in love with!
