When I chose this book I was in two minds…..would this be a beautifully written book or would this be a long slow dull read?
The moment I started the book it was clear that it was very well written. The words flowed beautifully and it was a joy to read such a good book on a very touching subject.

It’s taken a long time for me to finally finish this book. A hard read having recently lost my father to cancer and watching my mother’s high’s and low’s as she battles every day with the beast of dementia. Sally Magnusson is to be applauded for bearing her soul and sharing her personal journey with Maime. This book touched me in so many ways and I cried at most chapters. A beautifully written and raw account which will no doubt resonate with millions worldwide. Bravo Sally and God Bless Maime.. what a lady she was!
