I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Denzil today in Waterstones Durham, my parents have long been fans of ALL of his books!
He spoke to our crime book group today, and we got to find out a little more about the man behind the books, which is always very interesting.
This book is the first in the series and it gets us off to an excellent start, very happy to recommend this (& his others) on to all crime thriller fans.

Thanks to Fiona for introducing me to this marvellous series. I loved DCI Daley and his sidekick from the beginning and thought the crime they had to solve in this first book was well put together. Perfect for lovers of good crime set in remote parts of rural Scotland !
