I loved Dear Mrs Bird so very much, I have been keen to get my hands on a follow up for some time.
This just like Dear Mrs Bird is a gorgeous read, cheerful, funny and touching but also such a very interesting storyline! I wonder how much certain things would have changed if the circumstances were now instead of WW2? I absolutely adore all the characters and I very much hope A J Pearce is working on a third in the series.
Do read Dear Mrs Bird first for full story but does work equally well on it’s on so don’t panic if you dive into this one first.
I absolutely love both and will happily recommend both to all.
