Well I popped into town yesterday to get a copy on publication day.
My thoughts were very much along the lines of I’m not sure I want to read the content, but I do feel it’s a necessary read.
So with a big deep breath I read this book in one sitting yesterday.
Yes, of course what this lady was subjected to by her husband and his associates is absolutely horrific in everyway.
Obviously, some of the aspects of this are detailed in the book, my heart went out to her every time a piece of this information was given to the reader.
But how she has dealt with it from the police first informing her, to her informing the family, to dealing with the legal aspects and ultimately the trial – what a courageous and strong woman!
I don’t think for one minute I could find that courage if this had even happened to me once.
This book should be read by everyone.
