Having recently read and loved the first two books of Michael’s newest series – The Mind of a Murderer and The Devil’s Code – it seemed sensible to check out his original series.
So the first in this series – For Reasons Unknown – introduces us to DCI Matilda Darke.
Matilda is a great character and I will absolutely be reading more in this series just as soon as I get my hands on them.
The plot is expertly paced, the tension is perfect – yes I agree hard to believe that this was his debut book.
The storyline is brilliant.
I am absolutely recommending this book to all crime thriller fans!
If like me you are new to Michael’s books – I can safely say you are in for a treat!
