I am late to the Michael Wood series so currently making my way through his extensive backlist and loving them all!
This is the second book in the DCI Matilda Darke Series and she is a fabulous character!
I will absolutely be getting my hands on book 3 ASAP.
Great pace and tension meant I flew through this and read way later than I should have done!
I have also loved his standalone reads and the first two books in Dr Olivia Winter series.
So if you are a crime reader or know one… then please dive in and get hooked!
Totally recommended.
