Kit De Waal – The Best of Everything had caught my eye last year but it never made it into my basket even though I have loved her previous fiction books.
Then last week it was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for fiction 2026 so it was obviously purchased immediately.
Pleased to report that this is another excellent read from Kit, the book is so full of emotion and life.
Love, loss, new love, family, friendships, work etc things can be looking up and life can be full of the joys but it doesn’t always last.
People can come into your life and bring joy or heartache and it is how you handle the situations you find yourself in.
Brilliant read, best to sit back and enjoy with tea and cake.
