Having loved Dark Island (Book 1) I was obviously delighted to get my hands on The Dying Light (Book 2).
Daniel if you are reading this – hurry along with book 3 please.
Freya is a great character who is finding a place in many reader’s hearts.
But the other characters are excellent too. They really get under your skin.
I would absolutely recommend you read these in order – yes both contain standalone crimes but there is also plot lines continuing through from book 1.
The tension is great and it is hard to resist reading it in one sitting which is exactly what I did.
