This is an excellent first book in a new series from Michael Wood.
It also happens to be be the first book of his I have ever read and now simply feel that I have been missing out on some great crime thriller writing.
Loved the characters!
The pace and tension are absolutely superb throughout – I flew through this book and I will be recommending to many crime thriller friends and family.
Absolutely delighted to have lined up in the pile to read book 2 – The Devil’s code – but it does like I will be checking out his backlist while I await book 3 in the series.
When your main character is the daughter of a serial killer you know you are on to a winning series.
