The Renovation is simply a brilliant debut.
It sounds quirky when you read the blurb and it is… but also completely addictive.
My head was constantly trying to decide what the family would do, would the prisoners realise what was occurring…
It gave me slight vibes of On The Calculation of Volume in that it perfectly concludes, it is quirky, brilliantly written but I feel there is also the possibility that there could be more to this story should a follow up novel be written.
Totally recommended, Kenan Orhan is a superb author.
