Many of us will remember exactly where we were on Boxing Day 2004, I certainly do and I remember how shocked I was at the event that took place that day.
This book is a dual timeline, part set 2004 and part set 2012.
Under Water I believe is a debut and it is a very accomplished novel.
You are totally placed in 2004 knowing what is going to happen, wondering how the storyline will cover this devasting event.
But also 8 years later wondering how someone continues on after being caught up literally in that event.
The characters, the tension, the storyline and the writing are all simply superb.
Absolutely recommended. I will be watching out for future books from Tara Menon.
