This is a short but very powerful novel about women who are being sold to men for whatever their purpose on an isolated island.
It is a powerful, raw and worrying story because they know what is going to happen to their daughters next.
Unless this cycle is broken, unless the power can be overturned that the woman in charge has over them this will never stop.
Why did they even end up on the island in the first place?
An excellent thought provoking read.
