So yes I am late to the Michael Wood party…
I’ve now read 4 of his 19 books… so I’ve a while to go to catch up to the cool kids yet.
This is the first standalone of his I have read.
Pleased to report that it was gripping, twisty and you just never knew what was the truth as you read.
Excellent plotting ensured you were guessing, then un-guessing, then guessing again continually.
There was no doing anything else until I had turned that last page!
Very happy to recommend to any other crime readers too!
