Firstly, thank you to the publishers for my review copy.
I was initially attracted to the book by its title, but also slightly put off by the title?
Then it made the women’s prize long list for 2019 so I decided that I should indeed read it!
My verdict is that this is an excellent debut definitely a worthy contender for the short list.
An excellently plotted novel covering greed, ambition and some slightly different family dynamics.
