Thank you for the early review copy and apologies for the late review, but lockdown occurred so I’m catching up on just a fraction of my to be read pile.
Having been a fan of Libby’s debut novel The Lido, I expected this to be gentle and considerate and to show the good side of human nature.
I was correct, a beautiful gentle read about ordinary everyday people, my favourite characters were the crossword man and the student.
Good luck with your future books Libby! This is most certainly recommended.
