I had the pleasure of meeting Mari earlier this year at Waterstones Durham and can’t wait to meet her again in November!
This is Mari’s 10th book and they are all excellent, set local to me – so County Durham, Tyne and Wear and Northumberland – with the odd stray over to Carlisle too.
Excellent characters they are all very believable, the tension and plotting are top class – you are literally on the edge of your seat reading while looking over your shoulder the entire time! (maybe they should come with a massage voucher to ease the tension away as you turn the last page – as it stays with you long after you finish)
Multi layered brilliantly written crime thriller which just leaves enough things open for you to NEED the next book in this series…. wonder how long she is going to make me wait for it?
