I have previously loved Polly’s first book, The Illustrated Child, so I knew this would be a great read.
This is told in two timelines, all is revealed slowly and beautifully. Although rather sad in places this is a gorgeous read that I will happily recommend to all.
The mystery of who they are and why they are there is worth every stage of the reveal as you turn the pages.
Completely recommended.
