I decided to buy this because it is a recommended book from the Between The Covers series 2 .
I probably haven’t read John le Carre for over 20 years, although I did always enjoy his plots.
This is very much set in the current day with several references to Brexit.
It was a good quick read but probably if I’m entirely honest not his best novel but still perfectly enjoyable.
