Thank you to the publishers for this review copy. I had never heard of Andrea Mara before, so I am very pleased to see there is a backlist to investigate.
Before I started the book I had decided that this would probably be an easy to guess crime thriller… as I read it many more possibilities were uncovered. Things were definitely not going to be that simple. I was hooked… the plot is superb. Loved the characters, wondering which ones are trustworthy, which are clearly the mastermind behind this dreadful situation.
All the way through I had ideas, none of these were correct. Great tension and pace throughout.
So I am very happy to recommend this book on to all crime thriller fans.
