Thank you to the publishers for this early review copy, on first inspection I wasn’t sure if this book was going to be for me.
However, I read the first page out loud, and I was hooked!
So, Grace Adams has I suppose like many of us had a life of highs and lows. Some dreadfully painful lows which can be very hard to pick yourself up from no matter how much help and support you may or may not have. When you can see things spiralling out of control, but you appear powerless then can be a real tipping point.
This book is heart breaking in many places but also heart-warming and sadly often relatable.
I am very happy to recommend this book to others and I will certainly be watching out for whatever Fran Littlewood writes next.
